The humidity of 3D printing materials refers to the moisture content within the material, which significantly impacts the 3D printing process and the quality of the printed results. When DC power is applied to the electrodes, the electrolyte membrane activates. Moisture (water molecules) on the anode side is decomposed into hydrogen ions (H+) and oxygen. The hydrogen ions migrate through the electrolyte membrane to the cathode side. At the cathode, these hydrogen ions react with oxygen in the air to form water molecules (in gaseous form), which are then expelled from the container.
