Liquid to Air Heat Exchangers: Bridging Closed-Loop Cooling Systems and Ambient Air
In many high-performance systems, the heat generated by electronics cannot be removed via traditional air cooling due to sealed enclosures or limited space. This is where a liquid to air heat exchanger plays a critical role.
These exchangers remove heat from circulating coolant (typically water or glycol mixtures) and dissipate it into the surrounding air using fan-assisted fin surfaces.

How They Work
A pump circulates coolant from the heat source to the exchanger. Inside the exchanger, the fluid flows through a coil or channel in thermal contact with metal fins. Fans draw ambient air through the fins, removing heat and releasing it to the environment.
