The infectious disease point-of-care (POC) analyzer is a miniaturized and portable medical device specially designed for the detection of infectious disease pathogens.

The working principle of the semiconductor refrigerated air water harvesting device is to cool ambient air and liquefy water vapor in the air into tiny droplets, so as to obtain fresh water. It draws water from ubiquitous humid air on Earth, featuring convenient water acquisition and direct fresh water treatment. Compared with other water intake equipment, this air water harvester requires no complex auxiliary devices. With a compact size and few moving parts, it is easy to carry and transport by personnel or vehicles, making air water harvesting an optimal solution for distributed water intake systems.
Different from large-scale seawater desalination projects, the water harvester based on air water extraction technology is highly applicable to field scientific expeditions, camp outposts and field troops, effectively meeting water demand in arid, semi-arid and island regions.
Structure and Working Principle of Semiconductor Refrigerated Air Water Harvesting Device
The system of the semiconductor refrigerated air water harvesting device consists of an air pump, temperature and humidity sensors, a condensation chamber, a water collector and a water circulation device. The water collector is equipped with lasers, water depth sensors and other components. The air pump at the device inlet delivers ambient air into the condensation chamber, which is connected to semiconductor cooling chips. The semiconductor cooling chips continuously provide cooling capacity to lower the internal temperature of the condensation chamber.
The air entering the condensation chamber comes into contact with the cold-end fins inside the chamber, generating heat and moisture exchange between the humid air and the cold fins. Since the temperature of the humid air is higher than that of the cold-end fins of the semiconductor cooling chips, heat is transferred from the humid air to the fins through convective heat transfer, gradually cooling the humid air.
When the air temperature drops to the dew point temperature corresponding to its relative humidity, the gaseous water vapor in the humid air gradually condenses into liquid water and adheres to the fin surfaces to form tiny droplets. As the droplets grow larger, their gravity exceeds the adhesion force of the fins, causing the droplets to fall down and be collected by the water tank arranged below the fins.
Adopting the Peltier effect of semiconductors to realize refrigeration and dew condensation for moisture extraction from humid air, the device features simple operation, low power consumption, resource conservation and zero pollution, providing an innovative method for fresh water acquisition in special environments.
