A reagent refrigerator is a specialized appliance designed for storing biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical reagents. Its primary function is to maintain the internal temperature within a specific range to ensure the activity and stability of the reagents. Customer Requirements:
A client is developing a new medical reagent refrigerator for storing vaccines, pharmaceuticals, blood products, diagnostic reagents, and other medical reagents. It is crucial to ensure these reagents are preserved under precise and constant temperature conditions to prevent efficacy loss due to temperature fluctuations, imposing strict requirements on the internal temperature.
To meet the product specifications, the client sought a compatible temperature control device with the following core requirements:
Chamber volume of approximately 60 liters.
Internal constant temperature maintained between 2°C and 8°C.
Target temperature reached within 3 hours after startup.
Total electrical power consumption within 350W.
Huajing Temperature Control Solution:
Product Design:Based on the client's requirements, we conducted the specification selection for thermoelectric cooler (TEC / Peltier) modules and the design of the module assembly structure. The solution utilizes 4 semiconductor cooling chips, each rated at 24V, with a total electrical power consumption of 309W. The cooling module structure was designed according to the client's product architecture and available assembly space.
Thermal Simulation:The client's complete unit model was simplified for analysis. Material parameters and initial boundary conditions were input for a comprehensive simulation, with the ambient temperature set at 26°C. This simulation thoroughly analyzed the Viability of the Solution, time to reach the target temperature, spatial temperature uniformity, and heat dissipation effectiveness.
Simulation data indicates that the chamber temperature can drop to the 2-8°C range within 3 hours, confirming that the solution meets the client's requirements.
